Our Failed Social Media did better but were not great.

• Twitter flagged Prznint Stupid’s claim of victory as being misleading and hid it from view and disabled replies and likes.
• Facebook and Instagram added a generic note that said that votes were still being counted and that the winner of the election had not yet been projected. Facebook also added a label to the video of the speech itself that reads: “Final results may be different from initial vote counts, as ballot counting will continue for days or weeks after polls close.”

That said, you can still find the video of his victory speech and watch it.

On Twitter, it sits on Prznint Stupid’s timeline right above his earlier hidden post about election stealing. The WaPo Reports that Twitter says the video does not violate its policies.

This is how you do it: NBC News cut Trump off mid-speech as soon as he started lying about winning.

Gonna re-up what we said about social media the other day: There’ll be mountains of bad information. Don’t waste time on it, and don’t share it.

It is not only history that has been decided and which will be revealed.

We will also have the same freedom citizens of the world, to varying degrees, have had from millennia past.
We read about those choices in text books, bibles, and family histories.

As the counting goes on, and the result is announced, the one ballot that will also count is the vote every individual will cast.
Each of us will choose the role we will play in that history.

It occurs to me that, if the worst comes to pass, what came to me four years ago will still apply, at least in my life.

With hospital ICUs overflowing, and the number of hospitalizations rising, the U.S. set a record of new COVID infections yesterday, hundreds of doctors, nurses and health care professionals have lost their lives to the coronavirus after treating their patients’ COVID.

They surrounded the bus like an ISIS convoy and tried to bring it to a stop or run it off the road. The video is a harrowing document of a felonious attempt to intimidate a presidential candidate, frighten voters, and suppress their right to vote.

Trump himself lauded these terrorists on Twitter as well as in one of his campaign stump speeches Saturday evening. “Did anybody see the picture of that crazy bus driving down the highway?” Trump gloated. “They’re surrounded by like, hundreds of cars? They’re all Trump flags all over the place.” Notice that Trump characterizes Biden’s bus as “crazy,” but relishes the perpetrator’s vehicles swaddled in Trump flags.

Not surprisingly, Fox News weighed in on this affair to cast the most positive light on a videotaped crime in progress.
