When a protester approached and pointed her finger at him, the U.S. Capitol Police officer had already decided that he would no longer stay silent.
“What are you doing as a police officer?” she demanded Wednesday night as he stood behind a stone wall and a short metal fence separating a long line of armed officers from more than 300 George Floyd demonstrators. “What are you doing as a black man with that badge on? What are you doing to change things?”
