Yes, there are much bigger priorities and people are hypocrites, but this one is so easy. I care about decorum in government because I care about the consequences. Insults, especially in the form of swearing, do not enable functional government. They also do not attract people to your cause — at least not anyone who isn’t already a supporter. This nonsense solves nothing and only makes matters worse.
