Wondering why a few conservative friends are less than impressed.

I am less than impressed because even though President Obama held this town hall meeting, he still refused to listen to what most Americans wanted. He knew what was better for us in his own arrogance.
And what was that?
Oh… let’s start with Obamacare for starters.
I’m not impressed with the Obama tax code which according to IRS’s reports for 2014 “there were 54,291,649 tax filers—or about 36.5 percent of all filers—who filed taxable returns with adjusted gross incomes of $50,000 or more. These taxpayers paid total income taxes of $1,300,748,208,000—or 94.4 percent of the $1,377,797,136,000 in total income taxes paid that year.
The 148,606,578 filers included single individuals, married couples filing jointly, married persons filing separately, surviving spouses and heads of households.”
What are we not impressed by? I am not trying to be obtuse, I’m trying to understand what you’re attempting to convey with those statistics.
Additionally, PPP found that 62% of people polled said they wanted to keep the ACA and make changes to it, while 33% said they wanted it repealed and the US to start over with a new healthcare law.

Sounds like most Americans like.
“He knew what was better for us in his own arrogance.”
What politician doesn’t?
A majority of Americans voted for Obama and wanted health care reform, but who cares?
Lives have been saved, but who cares?
Obamacare is more popular now, but who cares?
Repeal of Obamacare is not wanted, but who cares?
Trump is NOT what most Americans wanted, but who cares?
Trump knows what is better for us in his own arrogance, but who cares?
