Sadly there’s little evidence that he’s destroyed the Republican party so much as changed it into an openly white supremacist, theocratic fascist party. The jury is still way out on whether or not the United States survives this transformation a a functioning democracy instead of being turned into an Orban-style dictatorship cloaked in democratic trappings.
