The most frustrating and infuriating thing about people like this? They pretend they are taking some stand for freedom or against tyranny. In reality, it’s theater. In fact, it’s pretty amateurish theater. Like… this is the theater parents get when their kids stomp their feet and try to wrestle away from a vaccination needle.
The fact that some of these people flaunt their professional or military experience makes the intransigence that much sadder. Kids don’t know better. These people are performing for the crowd and making us sicker.
It’s just like insisting on a “right” to drive drunk. People like this are doggedly oblivious to the fact that they’re potentially endangering other people around them, not just themselves.
