Battle of Hayes Pond

  1. Sadly Hayes Pond was an exception to the rule. Usually the Klan got away their intimidation and crimes. Their victims rarely saw justice.

Of course, all those Klansmen have offspring who are loyal Trumpists today. They will insist racism isn’t a thing anymore, except for “racist BLM” and other Blacks who perpetuate it.

They will say the Civil Right Act and Voting Rights Acts ended racism.

Our old buddy Darrell remains convinced President Obama is both proof that racism isn’t a problem, AND he made race relations worse. He’s utterly oblivious, or at the least dismissive, of fellow Trumpist Ted Nugent calling Obama a “sub-human mongrel”. He’s not concerned about Trump’s mob of racists repeatedly calling Black Capitol Police officers “Ni**er” as they assaulted them.

And of course he sees no racism in birther Trump, who refused to rent to Blacks, and demanded exonerated Blacks be put to death. This is the “softer racism” that infects America today. Their blame for only Blacks tells us something else. Racism isn’t racism to racists.

Not that Darrell is a racist. He just says Blacks and progressives are the real problem for seeing the systemic racism that Darrell knows first hand does not exist. It just means they “hate America”, I think.
