Yep, that was his first official tweet as a newly elected member of Congress. And while some of his fellow GOPers upbraided him for this classless, puerile utterance, others cheered him on. After all, this kind of behavior is not exactly out of the ordinary for Republicanoids these days — just look at how many retweets and likes this post got.
Seeing our President do these things is unfortunate and disappointing.
Seeing my fellow citizens and neighbors, whom I have to share this country with, forget they are part of something greater than themselves and indulge in this behavior? Words escape me.
It’s just… Trump will be gone. What will be left and why does that appeal to so many people? People want to bring us back to how America used to be. MAGA, right? When was this acceptable behavior outside of a schoolyard?
