No Respect from the Democrats for Wisconsin

From Wisconsin conservative James Wigderson:

Note from Ray: I had to look for a few seconds before I got what conservatives are finding scandalous this time.

Wisconsin was abused again by the Democratic National Committee’s decision to reduce the party’s national convention to the size of a typical Wednesday night softball league tournament. The Democrats actually removed Wisconsin from the logo for the national convention.

Old Logo

New Wisconsin-free logo

We don’t rate a visit from the Democrats’ candidates. We don’t rate a visit from their delegates. We don’t even rate a silhouette on the convention logo.

  1. Why, Good God, Why on earth do people feel the incessant need to always be negative? On Thursday “conservatives” bitched and moaned that various caucus meetings left out ‘Under God’ from the Pledge, you know meetings that dozens of people bothered to look at. Nevermind the main event blatantly and obviously said the pledge intact and in its entirety. Never the less, ‘DEMS HATE GOD’ or variations of this trended in Social Media and made the rounds of “conservative” media. Now today, we’ve got a Wisconsin “conservative” moaning about the modification of the Convention logo? A person can go on C-Span, RIGHT NOW, and look at the convention replay and in minutes the very first convention logo you see if the one he’s whining about losing.

Oh, God forbid, they use the United States instead of 1/50th of the United States in the logo when the entire damn theme of the convention was about unity, society and the greater good.

Me, Me, Me, Me, Me. Cater to me and my fickle, ever changing needs: The “conservative” platform.

I suppose I should find solace in the fact that they find the need to quibble about such SMALL things rather than address the actual issues and topics discussed and expressed during the convention. It means they have NOTHING left in the gas tank except playing the victim, albeit the victim of completely superficial things. Honestly, I expected the big hubbub today to be the Imam’s prayer at the end of the convention, but I guess that would have required “conservatives” to actually watch the convention instead of hate tweeting it or whining on Reddit. Or maybe it was passed their bedtimes.
