- Our favorite Earth-Bound Misfit sees a blur between satire and reality as an ousted president acquires a sudden intense interest in humane prison reform.
- YellowDog Granny throws cartoons at the Trump non-arrest this past Tuesday.
- Ant Farmer’s Almanac notices a pattern in Trump arrest days.
- In the Borowitz Report, mr Trump claims the failure to arrest him this week is a conspiracy to keep him from getting donations.
Key satire:
If not arrested by Friday, Trump said,
āI will perform a citizenās arrest on myself.ā
- The oft prescient Infidel753 explains, before it didn’t happen this week, why we should not be all that unhappy that the Trump arrest didn’t happen this week.
- tengrain at Mock Paper Scissors brings us more non-news. It seems the indictment and arrest were not the only Trump-announced event that did not occur.
Although there have been goofy attempts to say otherwise:This video, claiming to show Donald Trump's supporters outside Trump Tower in New York protesting the possibility of his arrest, has been shared multiple times on TikTok and Twitter.

- Dave Columbo suggests one scandal we don’t often discuss is an ongoing corruption of the language of scandal:
Key interaction:
We used to be so much more discerning with what was unpresidential: Howard Dean, we owe you an apology. Do you accept?…(YeeeAhhh!) Okay.
- At The Moderate Voice, the current Republican line is that arresting mr Trump would blow up the country. Joe Gangelman, with the help of 10 others, blows up that proposition.
- Vixen Strangely at Strangely Blogged brings to us Donald Trump’s threat of death and destruction from his fans if he is indicted, including a screenshot of himself brandishing a baseball bat against District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
Key observation:
The solution is not the refuge of the law, or the comfort of his own knowledge of his innocence. Nope. He attacks the official who brought the case as a human being with blood and breath, because he can’t refute the facts. He can’t enjoy his day in court, because it won’t exonerate him.
