We pray.

We do not pray because we’re strong.
We pray because we need strength.
We pray. And we feel God's power around us.

We do not pray out of a perfect love.
We need God's love in our hearts.
And we feel when we see a neighbor in need.

We do not pray because we know God's will.
We pray because we lack wisdom.
We pray because our vision is limited.

We know our prayers are answered,
because we glimpse a land of promise,
and we share the dream.
