This week he bemoans the fact that Americans are not massively attracted by the Romney plan to lower tax rates for the extremely wealthy thereby rescuing the economy. The proposal to help out the wealthy would be a sure winner if Americans were not so distracted by the release-your-taxes-Mr-Romney smoke being blown by socialist Marxist Democrats like ... well ... me, I suppose.

...My friend is really a lovable guy, but he does seem to have one demon. Ask him about President Obama and he not only answers in CAPS. The inside of your computer screen gets flecked with spittle.

Mr. Deming, you know I think very highly of you despite your warped political world view, my friend. That said, I can only assume that you were exceptionally busy and thereby did not have the time needed to fully read the articles of which you erroneously summarized this week. Now with my considerably poorer writing, I can understand you missing my point… I think; however, when you assume something that Ryan said or unintentionally mischaracterize something that Heathen said, I can only assume this is because you were skimming their very well-written articles with alacrity.

As for your summarization of my article, I had to stop and think for a moment what I had written this week as your review didn’t even ring a bell with me at first. Nowhere in my article did I bemoan the fact that people weren’t falling in line to support Romney’s diabolical plan to lower the tax rates for the evil rich with his new tax plan. While that is an interesting topic and possibly worthy of a future post, it wasn’t even a line in my current posting.

I was bemoaning the left’s in general, and the lying, dissembling, mendacious Harry Reid in particular, efforts to try and get Mitt to release more of his tax records simply as a means to try and distract from the current issue at hand with the economy. My proposal was for Mitt to agree to release more of his tax records if Obama releases his college records.

Further, my reasoning had nothing to do with trying to embarrass Obama by making his bad grades public. I stated that any grades he got 30 years ago would be irrelevant now that he is president of the free world. If his grades were good, he would also have no reason to hide them, so what possible explanation could he still have for keeping them secret? I posited a theory put forth by his Columbia school class mate that had the same major as he did yet never saw or met Obama in the years they were “together” at Columbia.

As for me having a demon, I would agree. That demon is our president himself. He has proven to be the most destructive force for all things traditionally American in the history of this greatest of all nations. Your comments do suggest a solution however. Rather than an election in November, I think that perhaps an exorcism would be more effective to remove the demon from the White House.

In addition to his excellent scholastic standing here, T. Paine writes for his own site, where no demons prevail and exorcisms are unneeded.
