I know what it is to look into the darkness
and talk to the emptiness as if I was praying.
I know what it’s like to hear
only silence in the night.
We have all needed strength in our weakness.
We have all needed healing in our pain.
Jesus walks with us, laughs and cries with us.
He prays with us. He heals us.
He gives us hope.
He gives me hope.
