Introduction, Traditional Service, July 8, 2012
St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Florissant, MO
Sometimes life can seem harsh.
Sometimes each day can be a hard, hard walk
through a dark and lonely valley.
We can live in quiet desperation,
wishing we could walk an easier path.
But Jesus is walking with me. Walking with you.
His hand is on your shoulder.
He has traveled the hardest path of all.
You can’t walk the journey of anyone else.
Your road was made just for you.
But you have a friend
to guide you through dark places.
He tells you that you are unique.
That you are God’s special child.
That your own journey is taking you home.
