found online by Raymond

From Andy Borowitz:

PYONGYANG (The Borowitz Report)—The North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un, is reportedly “upset” and “hurt” that Donald J. Trump is seeing other dictators, sources in Pyongyang have confirmed.

According to an aide close to the North Korean leader, Kim was “devastated” to see images of Trump warmly embracing another dictator in Helsinki on Monday, just one month after jetting off to Singapore to spend a memorable and intense five hours with Kim.

Conservative Groups File Support for Lefty Org’s Open Records Request

found online by Raymond

From Wisconsin conservative James Wigderson:

A coalition of five organizations, including four prominent conservative organizations, have filed an amicus brief in support of a lawsuit by The Progressive over an open records case involving state Rep. Scott Krug (R-Nekoosa).

The Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL), the Wisconsin Freedom of Information Council, the John K. MacIver Institute for Public Policy, the Badger Institute, and Americans for Prosperity – Wisconsin announced Friday they filed their brief supporting Bill Lueders, Managing Editor of The Progressive. The lawsuit is the result of Krug’s refusal to supply the public records in the original electronic format as Lueders requested. Instead, Krug printed the records and attempted to charge The Progressive for the cost of the copies, increasing the expense of the open records request.

Non-Word and Word Noises During Sex [research study]

found online by Raymond

From The Journal of Improbable Research:

“Verbal communication during sex did not predict sexual satisfaction. The Trump End-Game

found online by Raymond

From Infidel753:

Two new factors in our politics are working together to weaken Trump more seriously than ever before in the year-and-a-half history of this misbegotten parody of an administration. One is undermining him among Republican party leaders, the other among his base — and together they may give our country its best chance yet to get this absurd and vicious man out of office at last.

The former, of course, is Trump’s craven press conference in Helsinki on Monday, which is inspiring horrified condemnation from prominent figures across the political spectrum. For a collection of such reactions, see here; for responses from Republicans only, see here and here. Many of the latter are timidly phrased, in keeping with the abject cowardice which has distinguished most Republican leaders when dealing with Trump ever since the 2016 primaries. But they’re there, and the much tougher statements of McCain and Flake — who can speak more freely because they will never again have to fear the votes of enraged Trumpanzees — doubtless reflect what others are thinking.

The other factor is Trump’s trade war, which is starting to inflict some serious pain on some of those same Trumpanzees.

TRAITOR

found online by Raymond

From Green Eagle:

Well, today is the last day in our nation’s history that anyone could possibly honestly believe that our President is not a traitor. Anyone who claims differently is, after his “press conference” with Vladimir Putin, lying, either to themselves or everyone else on earth.

Sad to say, we know how all of this works.

Trump is just the tool. We’re the ones who betrayed America

found online by Raymond

From PZ Myers:

Trump is a bad man, corrupt and immoral. But putting the focus solely on his action in Finland is misleading. Russian meddling might have given him a slight boost in the last election, but really…lots of Americans voted for him. The Republican party is supporting him. All the howling aimed at one man is a distraction from the long term problem.

Why were Americans susceptible to Russian propaganda? Why do they vote for a criminal political party?

Putin And His Puppet: A Love Story

found online by Raymond

From Dave Dubya:

First Putin will stroke the Big MAGAt’s ego with praise for being a strong leader. Tit for tat stuff.

Then Vlad will remind him who their real enemies are; liberals, the free press, Democrats, democracy, NATO, etc. The usual scapegoats for authoritarians.

Putin will likely pander to Trump’s racism by praising him for abusing and traumatizing brown mothers and children. Vlad will note with delight the birther lies and frequent blame leveled at Obama, and then share a big laugh at how the Black guy’s policies are being reversed.

Then they’ll have a nice back slapping, two-minute hate just for Hillary.

There Was (Is) Collusion And GOP Congress Has Joined In It

found online by Raymond

From Ted McLaughlin at jobsanger:

Was there collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign to affect the 2016 election? Did Trump know about and approve of the collusion, or even direct it? The answer to both questions is a resounding YES! Even though we don’t know everything that Robert Mueller knows, there has been enough information made public remove any doubt that Trump’s campaign aides and family did collude with Russia. And nothing happens in Trump-world, without the express consent of Donald Trump himself.

Trump keeps repeating that there was no collusion. He’s hoping that if he denies it enough, people will start to believe him. But frankly, you’d have to be brain-dead at this point to believe there was no collusion. But it gets worse. The collusion is STILL HAPPENING!

Elon Musk Claims He’d Be Better Pedophile Than Thailand Rescuer

found online by Raymond

From The Onion:

PALO ALTO, CA—Doubling down on a recent controversial statement he made about a British cave diver who helped free a youth soccer team from a cave in Thailand, Tesla CEO Elon Musk reportedly insisted Monday that he would be a much more innovative pedophile than rescue worker Vernon Unsworth. “Look, the only insulting thing I was trying to say when I called that guy a pedo was that he represents a laughably simplistic, outdated form of child molesting that is badly in need of disruption from Silicon Valley leaders like myself…”
