Fondly Remembering Obama – 7/3/2017

Working toward an important advance in healthcare – March 3, 2010 (From Obama Photographer Pete Souza via Instagram)

Wondering why a few conservative friends are less than impressed.

  1. Caption: “Knuckle-bump, Sister Comrade! This is the first step to single payer health care, just like they have in the paradise of Venezuela!”

    1. I’m not sure why you would choose to compare it to Venezuela instead of much more successful countries except to be disingenuous.

      1. Really? If I recall correctly it wasn’t that many years ago that Sean Penn or Tim Robbins and other such Hollywood leftists, including the “documentary film maker” of “Sicko”, Michael Moore, told us of the the joys of Hugo Chavez’s Venezuelan medical system and that of the Castro regime’s in Cuba.

That said, I think we do have great need for improved mental health services to provide help to our brothers and sisters in America that are seemingly suffering greatly in not being able to put into action their “love trumping hate.”

        1. Thank you for your well considered comment, T. Paine.

If I understand your logic, Venezuela has a terrible government-run healthcare system, along with pretty much every aspect of authoritarian government.
Therefore Norway, which offers universal coverage, has a terrible healthcare system.

Sean Penn was a friend of Hugo Chavez.
And so, the universal coverage of Japan is horrible.

Michael Moore, in a tweet a few years ago, celebrated the nationalization of Venezuelan oil.
That means universal health care in Britain is pretty bad.

Tim Robbins actually visited the one time capital of Venezuela in 2008.
Which proves how disastrous universal medical care has become in Canada.

Almost forgot. Tim Robbins also praised some of the films produced by Venezuelan film studios.
That certainly highlights the sad state of medicine in Spain.

Other leftist actors, too many to be named here or in your comment, have also endorsed various aspects of life in Venezuela.
Which is a sad commentary on universal health care in Germany, Italy, and France.

Did I forget any other examples? Oh yes. Sweden, Taiwan, and Australia must have also deteriorated, as demonstrated by the words of various Hollywood personalities.

OH! Also Israel, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, and pretty much every other industrialized country in the world.

The quality of medical care in all those countries is suffering because of universal healthcare coverage.

We know this for sure because of the foolish public utterances of so many celebrities of American cinema.

Is that pretty much how it works, Mr. Paine?

          1. He swings between being somewhat reasonable and being totally unreasonable so unpredictably.

  2. Obviously this is far worse than a mere Red Scare. Racist/Marxist/Stalinist as Obama was, this is the dreaded “Terrorist Fist Jab” FOX News warned us about.

Every good con-servative knows this to be true.

And thank God we at last have a decent man in the White House who respects women.

America need no longer be ashamed . Every good con-servative knows this to also be true.
