Uh yeah… I bet a VAST majority of Marines were even less impressed with our former Commander in Chief than I was.
Possible, of course.
Marines are human, and subject to the same temptations of ideological prejudice as anyone.
Indeed they are subject to those things.
Further, I think on the whole, they understand the purpose of the Marines and the military in general far better than our former CIC did. I think this was one of the many components of why his foreign policy proved to be such an abject failure that made the world a far more dangerous place in which to live.
Of course, if you wish to be impressed by that, then I suppose in some twisted way, such is your right. 🙂
