I watched the President this past week as he reacted with justified horror to Syrian President Assad’s chemical weapons attack which killed so many of his own people. It showed that Donald Trump does indeed have a heart. He vowed that the U.S. might go it alone in dealing with the problem of Assad’s butchery. Sure enough, after notifying the Russians (but neglecting to inform our own Congress), Trump ordered a massive 59 cruise missile attack on the Syrian air force’s airfields. I began to wonder exactly what Trump was thinking to have ordered such an overreactive attack.
