Our young combat hero is hospitalized.
The Marine Corps is transporting us to be with him.
There will be no posting this week.
Return is possible, not likely, next week.
Prayers from those who, in good conscience, can give them are appreciated.
Good wishes from my closely held, non-believing, friends are valued.
Thank you for staying with me.
I hope to return with good news.
All my best for all the best.
As a former Marine I wish a fast recovery and full healing for your family.
Best wishes for a fast recovery & good news!
Prayers will be said daily for your Marine’s full recovery. God be with him and with your family, Burr!
Best wishes for his full and fast recovery. Take all the time you need. The internet can wait. We’ll all still be here when you return.
May your son recover completely. He has great parents for support.
I hope it all works out.
What helped me through a great loss: Give yourself permission, and time to feel what you need to feel. Emotional, sometimes physical, pain are part of the process. Embrace them.
Take care of yourself. Make yourself eat, sleep, get a shower, even when it feels unimportant. Spend time with your mind in neutral. Pressing clothes and polishing shoes worked for me. Short walks in nature helped. Sometimes just standing near a tree and looking at clouds for five minutes was what got me through it.
When it all gets to be too much: Breath. Just breath.
The world will wait.
oof — sending you & yours my very best, Burr. tx for taking the time to let us know
Howdy y’all!

I’m assuming no news is goo … not bad news.
Not that I have any right to know.
Thinking about you. Hang in there.
I don’t pray, but I do hope, and I hold you all in my heart.
